May is the month to promote traffic safety with upkeeps of community infrastructure. National Bike Month, National Bicycle Safety Month and National Youth Traffic Safety Month are observed throughout May, National Bike to Work Week is in the 2nd week of May, and Infrastructure Week and National Public Works Week are in the 3rd week. We at CIEDM plan a cleanup of the public street by the Arcadia Ecohome streetfront including sidewalks & bike/parking lane to improve safety, walkability & cyclability to the adjacent Camino Grove Elementary School and Camino Grove Park. and a gardening works at the parkway improved with a pollinator friendly sidewalk garden, so as to enhancing the pleasant color and sound experiences as people walking along the garden.
