Hearing screening program for school children was conducted at SMAN 1 Suka Makmue, Nagan Raya Regency, Aceh Province, involving 20 male and female students. The examination results showed no hearing impairment in 20 students. In addition to the hearing screening, we also conducted counseling for all students at the school entitled “Becoming a Great Listener: Protect Your Ears.” The activities we carried out were very communicative and all students and teachers were very enthusiastic in listening to the counseling material presented and they were active in asking questions about things they did not understand about the importance of protecting their ears.
