Event Description:
The planned activity is a sensitization session entailing the following:
1.An initial power point presentation on hearing and causes of hearing loss. This will also touch on the exposures and effects of loud noises experienced in the aviation industry on hearing.
2.Learning and experience sharing session on how the workers protect themselves at work.
3.Question and answer session.
Education pamphlet will be distributed to guide discussion on hearing safety, participants will also be given World Hearing Day branded t-shirts.
Water and drinks/snacks will be provided.
