We intend to hold the World Hearing Day in Kapsabet, Kenya with he following key activities;
A high-profile awareness walk in Kapsabet Town to raise awareness about ear care, hearing loss prevention, and the importance of early intervention and a supportive environment for people with hearing impairments.
Free hearing screening tests to children aged 0-10 years to encourage early detection and intervention for hearing impairments.
A presentation on the challenges faced by PWDs in accessing government services, followed by the submission of a memorandum to County Government policymakers. The memorandum will advocate for policy
changes to improve access to care and support for individuals with hearing impairments.
Celebration of excellence of deaf individuals across various fields as a way to combat stigma, inspire inclusion, and celebrate their contributions to society.
