Event Description:
The School of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at UdeM organized a local event. Hearing screenings and awareness activities were held at schools, and UdeM’s music faculty, led by second-year audiology master’s students. In addition, video and podcast capsules will be created and broadcast throughout March using social media, the teaching platform and the music faculty’s monitors. Audiology students will also contribute to the Outreach Wikipedia Edit-a-thon for World Hearing Day 2025. UdeM, together with local organizations, will disseminate World Hearing Day social media materials to raise awareness among governments, organizations, professionals and the public.
