Project title: IEA WORLD HEARING DAY – 2023

Outline of the event:
We plan to conduct advocacy on ear care, conduct free ear screening and treatment to the general public, and partner with local media houses to create awareness of ear care. We also plan to print advocacy materials that we shall carry with us during a processional walk to the venue of our planned world hearing day celebrations. During this day’s event, we shall identify persons who may require further attention in regard to ear health and book them for our free ear surgical camp later in the year. We continue to conduct free ear screenings in rural areas of Mwingi Sub-county as a build-up to the planned World Hearing Day celebrations.
