Outline of the event:
A presentation about the importance of hearing and early detection of hearing loss has been made. The tips on identification of hearing loss has been explained in simple sentences. Once the hearing loss has been identified what are the next steps to be taken and how this could lead to the child becoming oral and join the mainstream has been highlighted. Members of the Parent Teacher Association of Balavidyalaya across India have been roped to approach high schools, colleges and the medical practitioners. They would be presenting this presentation and spread the message of Early identification, early diagnosis and early intervention leading to mainstream education.
