Description: Press Meet – Eminent ENT doctors spoke on Ear and Hearing Care. Anwesha members highlighted the WHD and emphasized the need of early identification and intervention to address deafness. The Trainer’s handbook was launched. The event was well covered by leading Bengali newspapers and online news portals.
Awareness – Two Tableaus were taken out on the streets of Kolkata in collaboration with Kolkata Police, to educate the public on ear and hearing care. A group of deaf youth performed skits in colleges and on the streets to sensitize the audiences on safe listening.
