Description: World Hearing Day was celebrated by the ENT Nurses Group, Ghana, across all the regions in the country. Various activities including Radio and TV talk shows, screenings, Durbars, etc. were embarked on. A total of about 2000 people were screened during the event. The people who benefited from the screening included school children, corporate workers, people in the media, traders, and the general public. Flyers were made which outlined proper Ear care and protection. These flyers were posted on various social media platforms to sensitize the public on the need to care for and protect the ears. About 346 ENT Nurses were involved in the activities. The public commended the ENT Nurses for the role they played in ensuring that Ghana was not left out of the WHD celebration.
