Title: Ear and Hearing Care for All
Description: Department of Audiology, SRFASLP, SRIHER (DU), India conducted several activities on the occasion of World Hearing Day (WHD)
Hearing screening for all: On WHD, 140 individuals were screened for hearing loss, 36 individuals were referred for diagnostic evaluation.
Awareness program to III UG Nursing students: was carried out on identifying hearing and ear related problems. Sensitisation on safe listening levels, use of EPDs, and adverse effects of earphone usage were provided.

Community awareness programs: through street play and other art forms (folk music/dance) were carried out at Ariyalur, Kanchipuram and Perambalur districts on 4th, 5th and 10th March 2023 respectively.
School screening camp: was conducted in Panchayat Middle School, Poonamalle, Chennai on 10th March 2023. School teachers were sensitized in identifying children with ear related problems. 57 children were screened and one required amplification device.
