Project will promote screening larger population of newborns in a shorter span of time and enable for early detection of communication disorders. Thus, supporting the goals of national level programs such in India. The project will be carried out in three phases. The android-based screening tool will be combined with software application that makes it practically possible to catch the young newborns at the early stage and monitor their developmental milestones even in low-resource environments. The three phases include: (1) development of a mobile app and software for screening babies; (2) Screening for communication disorders in newborns (Self) by parents, health care workers, and nurses of newborns for communication disorders (3) Validation of (self) screening by professionals for communication disorders
