Anwesha Kolkata will celebrate “World Hearing Day” on March 3, 2023 to raise awareness on “Ear and Hearing Care for All!” Let’s make it a reality through the following activities:
• Press Meet and invite an ENT Expert, MLA, and Representative from the Health Department
• a roadshow programme through decorated vehicles (tableaus) and a skit in collaboration with the Kolkata Police, deaf young adults, and volunteers.
• a hearing screening camp for underprivileged children in slum areas in collaboration with the Kolkata Municipal Corporation.
• Health event at a residential complex by conducting a hearing checkup for adults, especially older people, and promoting the use of the HearWHO app.
• seminar on safe listening practises for college students
• Use and promote Bengali awareness materials on ear and hearing care through social media.
