Outline of the event:
We have organized an awareness program for ANC mothers, PNC mothers, parents of newborn in our hospital were maximum visitors are from rural population. Introduction on world hearing day with theme of 2023 will be delivered. Obstetrician will guide on ANC care, Paediatrician will make aware of milestones and signs for which parents should look for to help identify deafness. ENT surgeon will be telling about the hearing screening protocols, test battery, early identification with early intervention, various schemes. We have free OAE screening for a girl child born in hospital.We are also holding screening camp for hearing, for school going children of rural area in our institute on same day. We have organized speciality camp for geriatric age group in community of WADI UHTC and Koradi RHTC of our hospital with free Pure tone audiometry for reduced hearing patients.
