Awareness Session:
CDD organized a total of 32 awareness sessions/events. These events were conducted with SHG members, students, teachers, and community people to create awareness regarding misconceptions & stigma related to ear and hearing care. In total 973 persons were sensitized. Among them 117 were persons with disability.
Advocacy meeting:
CDD and its partners conducted several meetings (05) with the PHC providers and local government representatives towards understanding the needs of people with hearing loss and ear disease. A total of 23 PHC providers participated in those meetings
Rally at community level:
11 rallies have been organized, where a total of 239 persons participated. Creating Mass awareness and draw attention of the local level decision makers was the objective.
Ear Screening Camps:
A total of 05 hearing screening camps were organized by CDD where a total of 67 persons have been screened and 19 people received Hearing Aid.
