Event Description:
The GHITA organised Gibraltar’s Hearingloss Week during the same week of World Hearing Day. We managed to get a number of agencies to support us and our campaign was quite wide spread and appeared not only in Social Media but also Television and Radio. GHA ENT and Audiologist gave a Hearing Care/Health awareness lecture to other medical professionals in St Bernard’s Hospital. The Ministry of Equality worked with the GHA’s Public Health department and have produced two leaflets on hearing protection. Gibraltar Schools participated with special deaf awareness lessons delivered too.
