Event Description:

Cochlear implant team at the Specialized Surgical Center in collaboration with El-Sabri Polyclinic celebrated the World Hearing Day 2022 by introducing the launch of Libya’s first newborn hearing screening service in Benghazi. The activity included a presentation summarizing up the results of targeted hearing screening of about 150 high risk neonates. The activity ended with celebrating graduation of some cochlear implant children who have completed their post implantation auditory verbal therapy sessions at the Specialized Surgical Center in Benghazi.
