Title: World Hearing Day 2023
Description: There were Pre-sensitization jingles at Adaba FM, Eki 100.9 FM, Crest FM and news coverage by the TVC , OSRC, Punch, Eki 100.9 FM and UNIMED online Radio/ TV media houses in Ondo state from 27th February, 2023 to 3rd March, 2023. Fliers were shared in churches, mosques, Adeyemi College of Education community, Commercial Bike riders and market women, inviting them for the world hearing day (WHD) activities. On the 02/03/2023, an Awareness campaign/walk was observed on the roads, shopping malls, lipakala junction, music entertainment stands, wood sow-mills, restaurant and UNIMED/UNIMEDTH administrative offices. Participants’ Registration, Lectures, Otoscopy, Audiological screenings and fitting of hearing aids marked the D-day (Video link https://youtu.be/XQHeOpl7Yfg).
