Title: World Hearing Day Celebration 2023 with Differently Abled Children
Description: The main goal of the event was to spread awareness on the importance of hearing to the students, faculty and staff from Patcheappane School for the hearing impaired. The inauguration of World Hearing day event 2023 and subsequent poster unveiling started at 9 am. From 10 am to 2 pm , free hearing screening for the students of patcheappane school for hearing impaired was done by the Prof P Karthikeyan and other faculty of otorhinolaryngology. The students then engaged in an interactive sports and games session which included running race, cricket ball throw, water filling, lemon in the spoon and musical chairs. Prize distribution for winners and participation prizes for other students were given. Finally we concluded by educating the young adolescents regarding the implementation of safe listening and nurturing a lifelong healthy hearing.
