Community Partnership – Plunket
Partnership with Plunket community – delivering hearing screening and hearing health education at Hubs in Auckland. One event on World Hearing Day and then multiple further events throughout Hearing Awareness Month (March).

Retirement Village Workshop & Hearing Screening
o Auckland team at Oceania Meadowbank promoting hearing health and onsite hearing screening.

Social media engagement – promoting Make Listening Safe
o Encourage community members to download listening guidelines
o Direct traffic to NFDHH safe listening guideline website landing page for resources and next steps

Schools & Youth Focus
o Hearing Screening and Make Listening Safe Programme delivered in schools – Shirley Boys High School Christchurch and Whakatane High School – approx 600 students.
o Focus on early identification and prevention

Youth Advisory Group (YAG) social media activation and promotion of early intervention, prevention and safe listening
o Youth-led video content highlighting hearing health and inclusion
o NZSL school group sign video created specifically for social media
