Department of ENT, Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi will celebrate World Hearing Day by organizing several activities as below:
1. School screening programmes: The ENT department in Collaboration with Sound Hearing 2030 and School Health Education is organizing ear and hearing screening camps in school in which Students will be screened, get consultation and referred according to need for further treatment to ENT MAMC.
2. Community screening programme: Several community screening programme will be run in rural dispensaries and Arogya Health centres in which ear screening and Hearing Screening will be done.
3. Health Talks: Health talk will be organized in community programmes, photo exhibition.
4. Photo and posters exhibition: The photo and poster exhibition will be displayed at Deans carpet area of Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi
5. Nukkad natak (SKIT Play): A SKIIT play will be prepared for community to sensitize in taking care of Ear and Hearing.
6. Quiz: An online quiz for undergraduate students is prepared by UG students.
7.A Special OPD clinic is being planed on World Hearing Day by ENT Department of Maulana Azad Medical College.
8. A Walkathon is also planned in collaboration with Sound Hearing 2030 for Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF).
9. A seminar for CRPF.
10. Few other activities is being planned …some screening and occupation Health etc.
