Free ear and hearing screening camp for children in rural area

Description:

Varun Arjun University in association with Varun Arjun Medical College & Rohilkhand Hospital, Department of ENT, is organizing a Free Ear Check-Up Camp on the occasion of World Hearing Day 2026 (3rd March 2026) at a rural primary school near Banthra, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. This initiative aims to promote awareness about hearing health and ensure early diagnosis and timely management of ear problems among children in rural communities. In alignment with the 2026 theme, “From Communities to Classrooms: Ear and Hearing Care for Every Child,” experienced ENT specialists will conduct detailed ear examinations and provide consultation for ear discharge, infections, and hearing difficulties. An awareness talk will also be delivered to children, parents, and teachers, focusing on early identification of hearing issues, preventive measures, safe listening habits, and the importance of seeking timely medical care. Children diagnosed with hearing or ear problems during the camp will receive further evaluation and comprehensive management at Rohilkhand Hospital, including necessary ear surgeries at concessional/discounted costs. This outreach reflects the institution’s commitment to accessible, affordable, and quality hearing care for every child.
