Outline of the event:
This will be a month long event that will include the following activities:
1) Distribution of coloring booklets containing activities and stories highlighting ear and hearing care to 5000 children
2) Free video-otoscopy and hearing screening to 100 individuals
3) Sponsoring an infographic contest that contains a short, effective message on ear and hearing care
4) Online lay forum on Proper ear and hearing care
5) Participation in a collective call to action by the National Institutes of Health: Transforming Philippine Health Systems toward Universal Health through Research to engage stakeholders to improve the state of hearing health in the Philippines
