World Hearing Day 2024- “Changing mindsets: Let’s make ear and hearing care a reality for all!”
The moto of this event is to make the invisible disability noticeable to all. Debunking the common myths about hearing loss and hearing disability. Create awareness among rural population about where and how to reach out for the audiologist and hearing care service provider. The event will happen in Kelambakkam of Kancheepuram (Dt.) (Semi Urban) & Thiruvaiyaru of Thanjavur (Dt.) (Rural)- Tamil Nadu.
The program will include:
Public awareness talks and discussion about the hearing disorders, ear & hearing care by crew of experienced audiologist and skate holders.
Free hearing screening to the rural population across age groups.
Breaking the myth about the hearing care and hearing disorder by circulation of pamphlets and mic broadcasts.
