On occasion of World Hearing Day 2024, Our institute Audiology faculties and Students planned to conduct 7 days series of activities to enlighten the importance of hearing health care in Puducherry (The French Riviera of the East). Our primary objective is focus on awareness, education, prevention about hearing loss. Secondary objective is to focus on exploring the current status about quality of life of the hearing aid users and hearing impairment individuals in our state.
List of activities:
1) Survey camps, and specialized outreach for Village communities.
2) Short film competition on various themes such as “Missing Hearing world”, “AI Ear care” and “Stigma to Style”
3) Webinars and Seminars for other health care professionals and Schools
4) Elderly hearing screening in old age homes
5) Quiz Competition on recent advancement in assessment & management of hearing loss.
6) Digital media campaigns include radio talks, TV spots, and theatre ads
