Outline of the event:
For World Hearing Day, Auditory Verbal UK are hosting an event in the Scottish Parliament for MSP (Members of Scottish Parliament) to challenge mindset and perceptions of what deaf children & young people can achieve. MSPs will meet young deaf people to hear their lived experiences and understand why early and effective support is vital for all deaf children so they have the same opportunities in life as their hearing friends.
