Outline of the event:
We aim to engage our research panel members in shifting perceptions surrounding hearing. We are privileged to collaborate with individuals who have hearing impairments, allowing us to integrate their firsthand experiences. The event will feature presentations on hearing research by researchers from the Hearing Sciences lab, along with an interactive activity session involving the research panel members, providing them a platform to share their lived experiences. Additionally, a photography exhibition will display photographs submitted by the research panel members. Both the activity session and the photography exhibition are aligned with the WHO theme of ‘changing mindsets’.
