Outline of the event:
The World Hearing day for 2024 is on March 3, 2024 on the the theme; changing mindsets, let’s make ear and hearing a reality for all to raise awareness on how to prevent hearing loss and promote quality ear and hearing care.
Our main objective is to deal with the misperceptions of hearing loss among the general public.
For Holy Family hospital, Nkawkaw, we plan for a week long program packed with daily activities, which will be starting from the 26th February – 3rd March,2024.
Monday 26th February,there will be audiological screening and education in the facility.
Tuesday, Health education in the market and public places.
Wednesday, we plan for a school outreach. Thursday, media house education and screening.
Friday, zoom education on hearing.
Sunday, climax of the week and day of celebration, there will screening and health education at some selected churches and night clubs.
