Outline of the event:
This initiative is a partnership between Audicare and Dproposito Art Gallery, which specialises in showcasing art created from recycled materials. In this project, deaf people will be invited to be co-artists working alongside professional artists to create pieces from recycled materials found in the audiology field, including, but not limited to, hearing aids and batteries. The theme of this project, as inspired by WHD2024, will be Changing Mindsets. The project is sponsored by WSA company, and the sponsorship funds will be used to pay the artists and cover the exhibition costs. Any profit will then be used for aiding Aural Rehabilitation of underprivileged deaf people.The exhibition will be held in a Famous Restaurant Gael on the 3rd of March 2024, in São Paulo, Brazil. The earpieces will be in the Exhibition until 31st March. And after that, the pieces goes to the sponsor, in their offices as a Permanent Exhibition.
