Outline of the event:
World Hearing Day is a campaign held every year by the WHO. Various activities take place throughout the world and are celebrated every March 3. The goal of this campaign is to share information and promote hearing health. The first event was held in 2007 and was known as International Ear Care Day, then changed its name to World Hearing Day in 2016. Every year, WHO chooses a theme and develops educational material about hearing loss itself. This year WHO gave the theme: “Changing Mindsets: Let’s Make Ear And Hearing Care A Reality For All” so that we all care more about the health and care of our ears and hearing. Department of ORLHNS FK Unand/ RSUP Dr M Djamil Padang Together with PERHATI-KL West Sumatra plans to hold an outreach event about ear health and a hearing health education competition among elementary school students in the city of Padang
