Outline of the event:
We are planning to celebrate world hearing day 2024 in accordance with World Health Organization theme Changing mindsets: Let’s make ear and hearing care a reality for all at our department of otorhinolaryngology Dr Ruth K M Phau Civil Hospital Karachi Dow University of health sciences. We would conduct keynote lectures, Would do an awareness walk in our hospital, medical college and the surrounding area. would conduct hearing tests like PTA, impedance audiometry and BERA. Would make brochures in our local language about all the precautions needed to keep a person hearing safe. Would present relevant papers and articles about hearing care and its assessment.
