Outline of the event:
I am a Ugandan student from Indiana University of Pennsylvania .My inquiry project is on training teachers and local communities to eliminate preventable causes of hearing loss. I have already met the district education office and health office and permission has already been granted. I will be meeting the headteachers on the 10th Feb to draw the training program. I will be using the basic training manual for WHO and I will be having some clinical personnel to help in the training.
The intended audience is over one thousand people.
I will use some of the downloadable materials from WHO during the training.
I hope it will go well with my small grant application because it will support me to get more materials even if it comes later.Serere district is too rural that ENT services are very far away from the communities. I hope to do ear screening as well.
