Outline of the event:
On the occasion of World Hearing Day, the Department of Community Medicine at MAMC has organized an extensive series of events aimed at raising awareness and educating the general public and patients of all age groups about hearing health. Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials will be prominently displayed at all health centers, offering valuable insights and information on hearing care, prevention of hearing loss, and the importance of early detection. Additionally, engaging health talks will be conducted by experts, designed to inform and empower individuals with knowledge about maintaining good hearing health. To further engage the audience and test their understanding, quizzes will be organized at all health centers, making the learning process interactive and enjoyable. These initiatives are designed to reach a wide audience, ensuring that people from various backgrounds have the opportunity to learn, participate, and benefit from the vital information provided on this significant day.
