In observance of World Hearing Day 2024, we proposes to conduct a series of ten distinct activities tailored to various groups, each with its unique theme. The comprehensive suite of activities centered on the theme is poised to make a significant impact across various sectors of society.
By engaging diverse groups—ranging from medical and dental students to schoolchildren, senior citizens, healthcare professionals, and policymakers—these initiatives aim to elevate awareness, enhance understanding, and foster actionable changes in the approach to ear and hearing care.
The expected outcomes include increased awareness and knowledge about hearing health, improved accessibility to hearing care services, the establishment of supportive networks for individuals with hearing loss, and the development of inclusive policies. These activities will contribute to a broader societal shift towards more inclusive, accessible, and comprehensive hearing care, aligning with the global call to make ear and hearing care a reality for everyone.
