Social media and website launch of a publication in the British Medical Journal where a young patient collaborated with a Cambridge paediatrician to write about changing mindsets by considering parallels between hearing differences and the world of Harry Potter. World Hearing Forum priorities are addressed in the article. The paper aims to reach child health professionals, paediatricians and young people to change mindsets and consider the benefit of assistive technologies in ear and hearing care.
