Outline of the event:
We will be raising awareness on the challenges faced by individuals with hearing impairments and tackle the stigma associated with hearing loss and related conditions.
Through informative sessions, interactive workshops, and expert-led discussions, we will explore the impact of stigma on individuals living with hearing loss, their families, and communities. We are preparing to use Radio HUYE and also face-to-face discussion in UR.
Furthermore, our event will feature free ear screenings conducted by qualified healthcare professionals, offering attendees the opportunity to assess their ear health and address any concerns they may have.
Whether you are a student, faculty member, healthcare professional, or member of the community, we invite them to join us in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with hearing impairments. Together, let’s raise awareness, combat stigma, and promote ear health for all.
