Outline of the event:
During the first week of classes this semester, the Association of Students of Audiology from the University of Costa Rica (UCR) will host a series of talks in regards of hearing care for everyone. The topics will include an overview of the World Hearing Report, basic ear and hearing care, accessible hearing healthcare for all, and the relationship between hearing loss and neurodegenerative diseases. This event is open to all members of the UCR community and nearby residents. It will be held in the auditorium of the Health Technology School of the Faculty of Medicine on March 13, from 13:00 to 17:00. We are pleased to announce the participation of doctors, professors, and other professionals in the field.
