Outline of the event:
The Speech-Language Pathology students of the University of Santo Tomas Manila will produce a three-minute video for World Hearing Day 2024. With the World Health Organization’s theme “Changing Mindsets: Let’s make ear and hearing care a reality for all!” The video project aims to challenge hearing loss stereotypes and promote inclusivity. It will dispel misconceptions, showcase diverse experiences, and emphasize the importance of early detection and intervention. Furthermore, the video will provide communication tips, advocate for accessibility, and offer potential hearing loss management.
