Outline of the event:
On World Hearing Day we publish a photo series across social media, showcasing authentic hearing device users (who wear hearing aids, cochlear implants and bone anchored hearing aids) in a beautiful and empowered light. A viewpoint that is sorely lacking in media and our everyday lives. We are also rallying our global following of hearing device users to share pictures of themselves online with the theme of #ChangingMindsets on #WorldHearingDay. So much of the stigma around hearing loss is a lack of visibility and exposure and insight. But pictures can talk. They can change minds and feelings and attitudes. Together, we can change mindsets.
