Outline of the event:
The IFA hosted a global cafe series ‘World Hearing Day 2023: Changing Mindsets about Hearing Loss and Deafness” with Dr Sue Archbold. The series aims to be a point of connection for colleagues working across the many fields associated with the business, policies and practices of population ageing. The audience of the cafés is typically international and comprises representatives from civil society organizations, governments, educators, industry, and academia. The Cafés are open and accessible to all and respond to the enablers of the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing (voice and meaningful engagement, leadership, and capacity building, connecting stakeholders, and strengthening data, research and innovation).
