Outline of the event:
Hospital Santo Tomas will host an open Forum on March 4 for the patients who attend the Outpatient clinics and also for the administrative workers in order to discuss and clarify misconceptions or myths around hearing loss and ear care. First the members of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology will present an overview of ear and hearing conditions and in the second part a discussion about popular myths. The participants will be asked to use the hearWHO tool and those with an abnormal result will be handled an appointment for a hearing test.
This presentation will also be transmitted online in the hospital´s web page.
Posters prepared using WHO materials will be displayed in high traffic areas.
