Educational Sessions: Interactive talks on safe ear care, noise exposure, and early signs of hearing loss.

Community Awareness: Distribution of informational pamphlets and promoting hearing-friendly practices.

Expected Outcome:

Increased awareness, better ear care habits among students, supporting World Hearing Day’s mission.

Primary site: EMR – Pakistan

Impactful Story:

During our hearing health campaign, we educated students and teachers on ear care and hearing loss prevention. They were surprised to learn that using hot or cold oil for ear pain is harmful, not beneficial. Many were also unaware that cotton buds push wax deeper instead of cleaning the ear. We highlighted the importance of ear protection, including airbags. The students listened attentively, actively participated, and eagerly agreed to share this knowledge with their families. Teachers were equally engaged. We provided transcripts, and students confidently summarized key points, making this session impactful in promoting better ear health awareness.
