Impactful Story:
Mwezi, a 15-year-old student from Lusaka, had long struggled with undiagnosed hearing difficulties that made following classroom discussions a daily challenge. On World Hearing Day at Matero Level One Hospital, she attended a free hearing screening in an adolescent-friendly space. The early identification of a mild hearing impairment was life-changing. With prompt intervention and expert guidance, Mwezi received treatment that restored her hearing and boosted her confidence. Inspired by her improved quality of life, she has become a vocal advocate among her peers for regular hearing checks and early intervention.
