Materials developed by the WHO were translated/adapted to the regional language Tamil and displayed around the hospital premises.
On day 1, Community Engagement activities were carried out. Team distributed printed materials developed to the public in the sub urban area. Railway station, bus depot, auto stand market were the locations identified and the team engaged in one-one conversation with the public and shared information.
Team met with higher administrative officers of the public school and highlighted the importance of talking about hearing care among school aged group population. Awareness materials were displayed in the common notice boards in the school.

Day 2: A dedicated interactive session with the ENT surgeon was organised for children with Cleft lip and Palate and their care givers at The Cleft & Craniofacial Centre. This was followed by hearing screening.
