Event Description:

we were able to facilitate an informative and interactive awareness raising session with students, aspects of safe listening as a means of mitigating hearing loss associated with recreational sound exposure was emphasized, not forgetting that through ear and hearing care it is possible to have good hearing across the life course., with the help of adolescent peer educators we also provided a hearing care checklist adopted from ‘Trinity hearing center’ to students, This helped determine whether an individual required further hearing tests and if so a referral to a health facility was given.
