Event Description:

An H.E.A.R.I.N.G. Italian network was firstly activated. It allowed medical doctors and members of 23 associations of people with hearing loss. They created and published a report that illustrates the Italian state of the art on health policies (“Stato attuale delle Politiche Sanitarie Italiane sulla Sordità”). On April 1st several events were held in all Italian regions. In particular: hearing screening for children and teenagers was offered in clinics and hospitals, awareness campaign in schools and presentations of the report to medical associations, local and national policymakers.
