Description:

A hearing screening procedure targeting employees aged over 60 years has been performed at the Santi Giovanni e Paolo Hospital in Venice, Italy. A “FAIL” result was defined as the inability to detect one or more frequencies (0.5, 1, 2, and 4 kHz pure tones) at 30 dB HL in either ear or the presence of a risk factor for hearing loss. A total number of 64 subjects were tested. Ten failed the screening and were referred for audiological assessment.
