Title: Hearing Aid Access for All Campaign

Description:

The House Institute Foundation (HIF) celebrated World Hearing Day by carrying out a social media and email mini campaign to share messaging around hearing care for all and raise awareness about practical ways for everyday people to help make this a reality. The face of our campaign was Cassandra Pumphrey, a teacher for deaf and hard-of-hearing students who herself has hearing loss. She shared her story regarding the difference hearing aids have made in her life and that of her students. Cassandra is a House Institute patient who received free hearing aids through our pro bono hearing aid access project. The mini campaign shared information about this program to garner support so we can serve more people and draw more people who can’t afford hearing aids to receive the care they need.
