In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, both the National Center for Disability Research, and the Libyan Hearing Ambassadors are planning to celebrate World Hearing Day 2026 by organizing a school hearing screening week targeting first graders (expected to screening about 500 students), aiming for early identification of common ear diseases and hearing problems in school-aged children, and raising awareness of the importance of early detection, prevention, and timely treatment of hearing problems.
