The event took place in Stäfa, Switzerland, as well as in Kitchener and Mississauga, Canada. Thus, it was held at three of the Sonova offices. The event aimed to enhance awareness on the importance of ear and hearing care, with a specific focus on the children population. Even though Sonova is a company which specializes in hearing care, this event was an opportunity to increase employee engagement and highlight how their work fits into the greater picture of ear and hearing care. The event consisted of two panel discussions, one in Switzerland and one in Canada. The panels included students with childhood hearing loss, the students’ parents, pediatric audiologists, and a former school principal. The panels highlighted lived experiences and testimonials which connect with the theme of “communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children”. Following the panel, there were activity stations at all three locations featuring different Sonova brands and departments, where they show how their solutions, research, products, or initiatives support children’s hearing health and inclusion. The event showed the contributions needed to have a connected, end-to-end hearing care system.
