Events across the country were conducted by Audiomax and WIZEAR in collaboration with the Zimbabwe Association of Audiologists and Speech Pathologists (ZAASP), Zimbabwe Society of Otolaryngologists (ZISOL) and Hear the World Foundation which provided free hearing aids. Free hearing screenings were conducted for all ages. Hearing aid fittings were done for children under the age of 18years. Awareness and advocacy was also done through continuing medical education (CMEs) seminars and interaction with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. These activities were done at Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital, Bindura Provincial Hospital and CITIMED Hospital in Chitungwiza.
